On 21 january 2000 the Earth blocked the sunrays to touch the Moon's surface.
Not
as spectacular as the solar eclipse of the 11 august 1999,
but
modest an quitely this event took place in the early morning between 4.02 and
7.25 hours...
Weather was not favourable in the Netherlands, but i
managed to take some pictures when clouds disapeared for some minutes. Camera
used Nikon with 70-210mm and a 20mm wide angle. Pictures were taken in Woudhuis,
a hidden forestial aera near Apeldoorn. Notice the the nice redbrown color of
the Moon an the appearance of stars like Castor, Pollux and Procyon.
(Pictures
will be updates as soon as the digital scans come available.)
